COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES 

  • Development of Jain Centre London,  64-68 Colindale  Avenue, Cecil Road, London NW9 5DR as the place of worship and community activities for Jains and a centre for academic, philanthropic and multifaith activities for improving the quality of life of the people.

  • Facilitates the development of Council of Dharmic Faiths (CoDF) for The United Voice of Dharmic Traditions (Hindu, Jain, Buddhist, Sikh and Zoroastrian).   • Support to the Jain Academic and Research Centre, Mumbai University

  • Support to the  International School for Jain Studies (ISJS)
  • Lectures and talks at community centers and interfaith gathering
  • Curriculum for Barnet Schools Key stage 1 to 5
  • Proposal of the subject of Jainism at GCSE Examination
  • Feasibility study for a college for training of the Minister of Religions: Partners: Jain Academy, Hindu Academy, Muslim College, Leobeck College for the study of Judaism and Interfaith Chaplain of Archbishop of Canterbury
  • Authored examination details for the subject of Jainism for the Certificate and Diploma Examination at the IB (International Baccalaureate) Examination
  • Recipient of our grant from AWARDS FOR ALL for the Wedding  Rituals Project. Publication, June 2010 "MARRIAGE: Reflections and Understandings from Nine faiths in Britain"


PHILANTHROPIC ACTIVITIES 

  • Health Promotion Activities in Barnet
    Support to the welfare organization in India and the UK
  • Support to the Animal Welfare
  • Support and Input to the Ecological Conferences and Meetings
  • Planning to provide Houses and Water to the people below poverty line in India


INTERFAITH ACTIVITIES 

  • November 2009 – Lead Organisation for Interfaith Week, sponsored by the Department of Community & Local Government (DCLG) and Interfaith Network (IFN); organised an interfaith seminar and Jain exhibition at the Queen Elizabeth II Centre, Westminster.
  • Contributing to the meetings of Interfaith Network, UK and Faith Forum, UK
    Regular attendance in the meetings of Faith Regeneration Network, UK
  • Contributing as member in Faith Community Consultative Council, Department of Communities and Local Government, UK
  • Active member at Barnet Multifaith Forum
  • Active Participation in the development of Barnet Hindu Forum
  • Attendance in the various Interfaith Gathering in London
  • Participation in Interfaith Mental Health Forum


PUBLIC ACTIVITIES

TRAINING ACTIVITIES

  • Employment law, financial management, stress management, assertiveness and self-confidence development, communication and presentation skills
